VI. Important Notes
1. Raspberry Pi 5 generates significant heat natively. Do not run the bare board for extended periods. At least use a case with a fan. For AI/overclocking, an active cooling kit is a must.
2. The power supply must be the dedicated 5.1V5A PD power supply included in this kit. A standard 5V3A phone PD charger will limit USB current, causing peripherals to malfunction and system frequency to throttle.
3. The 1GB memory version is only suitable for ultra-lightweight learning and cannot run any AI large models or image deep learning programs. For such development, 4GB or higher versions are recommended.
4. The M.2 SSD expansion board only supports the Pi 5 PCIe slot. Older Pi 4 models are not compatible. The SSD image is pre-flashed; if you need a custom system, back up your data before re-flashing.
5. When installing the MIPI camera, ensure the ribbon cable's metal contacts face the motherboard slot. Do not insert it in reverse to avoid damaging the video interface. Please remove the protective film from the camera lens before use.
6. ROS, YOLO, and large model development have high memory requirements. For multitasking, 8GB/16GB versions are recommended to prevent program crashes due to insufficient memory.
7. The acrylic panels of the "Ocean View" case are fragile; handle them gently during assembly and disassembly. The magnetic dust filters can be regularly removed and cleaned to maintain cooling efficiency.
